Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technician Lead to join our team at Novant Health. This is a full-time position working in an ambulatory surgery center environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room and surgical equipment.
  • Provide technical support to surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical experience.
  • Participate in cross-training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the ambulatory surgery center by maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology program or military training equivalent.
  • Previous surgical technologist experience preferred.
  • Current surgical tech certification preferred.
  • Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skill validation and competency testing.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
