Corewell Health System is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Pulmonologist to enhance our Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine department. Our facility is a leading 234-bed children's hospital that provides exceptional care for children facing various pulmonary and sleep-related challenges. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of innovative professionals committed to advancing the health of children in our community.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will be board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology, demonstrating strong clinical abilities to deliver high-quality patient care. This role includes responsibilities in outpatient clinical pulmonary services, inpatient consultative services, and shared on-call duties with fellow team members.
Key Features of the Practice
- Participation in Pediatric and Adult Cystic Fibrosis Care Centers, recognized as part of the Therapeutic Development Network.
- Collaboration with a team of 5 Pediatric Pulmonologists and 4 Advanced Practice Providers.
- Access to a fully accredited Adult and Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Care Center.
- Involvement in a Sleep Disorders Center, accredited by AASM, featuring 14 pediatric sleep beds.
- Utilization of a comprehensive Pulmonary Function laboratory.
- Engagement in basic science research alongside Michigan State University.
- Opportunity to participate in a Fellowship Program.
Qualifications
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology.
- Possession of a valid Michigan medical license.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality clinical care.
- Ability to provide an enriching educational experience for residents and medical students.
- Proven track record or readiness to engage in scholarly activities involving residents and medical students.
