POSITION SUMMARY:
SAIC is seeking a skilled Project Coordinator with expertise in delivering Information Technology (IT) solutions.

The ideal candidate will support the Government in managing cost, scheduling, and performance metrics related to data center infrastructure, including power, space, and cooling systems.

This role involves collaboration with a team of Network Systems Engineers and Technical Advisors (SETAs) to supervise the design, implementation, enhancement, modernization, and revitalization of the Government's data center operations.

Responsibilities may include conducting functional analysis, timeline assessments, requirements gathering, and interface definition studies to convert mission objectives into actionable execution specifications.

Applicants must demonstrate the ability to articulate specific, detailed information for their recommendations through both written and verbal communication (e.g., presentations, Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), etc.). Candidates may also be tasked with evaluating proposed implementation strategies from Service Providers, analyzing future mission demand against planned capacity, and assessing facility needs, including layout, power, cooling, network connectivity, data storage, backup, monitoring, operational systems, directory services, identity management, access management, and automation.

At a minimum, the successful candidate must be able to:

Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of general IT capabilities

Showcase knowledge of technology integration across physical, virtual, and cloud environments

Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills to provide clear and concise updates on multiple concurrent projects

Conduct requirements analysis, schedule evaluations, and cost estimations (i.e., Service Portfolio Management)

Act as a change agent focused on translating customer needs into actionable tasks for service providers

Prepare program plans, including budget and schedule formulation

Conduct risk assessments of proposed service provider deliveries

Strategically evaluate a customer's vision and requirements, translating them into opportunities for enhancing service delivery quality

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with five (5) years or more of relevant experience; a Master's degree with three (3) years or more of experience; or a PhD with no related experience.

*Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Possession of an active or expired certification in relevant IT domains is advantageous.

PMP and/or Agile certifications are preferred.

ITIL certification is also a plus.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
Must maintain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance with a polygraph.
