Job Overview:

A Specialty Beverage Specialist is tasked with the creation, mixing, and serving of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons at the bar and dining establishment. This role requires a friendly, attentive, and prompt service approach to ensure an outstanding experience for all customers. The Specialist will report directly to the Bar Manager and oversee the Barback's activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Crafts beverages, serves wines and bottled beers, and taps draught beer from kegs.
• Engages with customers, takes drink orders, and serves snacks and beverages.
• Arranges bottles and glassware to create an appealing display and promote drink sales.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary bar area in compliance with health regulations.
• Adheres to all food and beverage safety standards.
• Performs additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• Basic mathematical and cash-handling abilities.
• Fundamental knowledge of beer and wine.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Requirements:

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
• Capability to reach, bend, stoop, and maintain mobility.
• Physical ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency in using draught systems, wine keys, and cash registers/Point of Sale systems.
