Job Description

This role will be located at NASA's Langley Research Center and is part of the Center Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering (CMOE) contract. The Data Systems Engineer will provide data support for wind tunnel facilities and collaborate with internal and external customers to determine test specific data acquisition requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Support cutting-edge research projects in large-scale test facilities.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal and external customers to capture test specific data acquisition requirements.
  • Ensure Data Acquisition System (DAS) availability and communicate system status with the test team.
  • Configure test specific measurement instrumentation and operate the DAS following existing work instructions.
  • Process acquired data and deliver validated results to customers in a timely manner.
