Banner Health is in search of a dedicated Surgical Technologist specializing in vascular procedures. This role is integral to our Surgical department, contributing to the high standards of patient care we uphold.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Surgical Technologist, you will:
- Prepare for surgical interventions by assembling necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring they are in optimal condition.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures, providing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and safety protocols throughout surgical operations.
- Participate in the turnover of operating rooms, ensuring they are ready for subsequent cases.
- Support the onboarding and training of new surgical staff, sharing your expertise and best practices.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, along with current basic life support certification. Certification as a surgical technologist is required, with a preference for candidates having one to two years of relevant experience.
Work Environment:
This position is based in a dynamic surgical setting, requiring adaptability and the ability to perform under pressure. The role may involve participation in call rotations and weekend shifts.
