About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at SSM Health Physical Therapy in St. Peters, MO. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed PT to implement the therapy plan of care and provide exceptional patient care services.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the implementation of the therapy plan of care under the direct supervision of a licensed PT.
  • Delegate and direct supportive personnel for assigned patients to enhance patient care services.
  • Communicate with supervising PT regarding scheduled patients to ensure identification of need for assessment and reassessment.
  • Participate in education of patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
  • Perform other professional duties associated with patient care within the scope of practice.
Qualifications
  • Physical Therapy Assistant Degree or certification required.
  • Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant required.
  • CPR certification.
