Automation Controls Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Controls Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in Controls/Electrical Engineering and a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and software engineering principles.
About the RoleThe Automation Controls Systems Engineer will be responsible for investigating, planning, and preparing RFQs, installing, and setting up equipment following industrial standards for chemical manufacturing processes. Additionally, they will propose equipment modifications to enhance production efficiency, manufacturing techniques, and product yields.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and plan RFQs, install, and set up equipment following industrial standards for chemical manufacturing processes.
- Propose equipment modifications to enhance production efficiency, manufacturing techniques, and product yields.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
- Design and fabricate or coordinate external fabrication of new and replacement parts.
- Support Kaizen activities as a control engineer across all divisions of Toner manufacturing (Toner Process, Toner Filling, Assembly).
- Provide support to ensure the proper operation of compressors and air dryers.
- Troubleshoot routine to moderately complex electrical and control system issues with manufacturing equipment.
- 2-4 years of experience in Controls/Electrical Engineering.
- Bachelors or better degree.
- Strong programming skills in robotics, with expertise in Fanuc and Epson robots preferred.
- Proficient in setting up and programming vision systems, with experience in Keyence systems beneficial.
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects independently and efficiently within strict deadlines.
A competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
