We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc.

Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering respiratory therapy treatments, and ensuring the safe operation of mechanical ventilators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Systematically gather and evaluate patient information to develop an appropriate care plan.
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, and ensure accurate results.
  • Perform Pulmonary Function tests following ATS Standards and EKGs to ensure quality recordings.
  • Assist with flexible fiberoptic bronchoscopy and set up mechanical ventilators, including BIPAP and CPAP Units.
  • Assess patient status and use information to recommend changes in patient plan of care.
  • Provide instruction on proper use of cardiopulmonary medication and equipment.
  • Distribute age and cultural specific patient education materials based on educational needs.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (R.R.T.) by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy.
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
  • PALS preferred.
Working Conditions:

This position requires working 36 hours, Nights, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy.
