School Psychologist Opportunity
Hallsville, MO is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time School Psychologist to join their team. This position will focus on assessment and report writing across the district, providing vital support to students and staff until May 2025.
Position Overview
As a School Psychologist, you will conduct psychological assessments for students in various educational settings, preparing and writing comprehensive reports based on assessment findings. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective strategies for student support, participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and contributing to individual education plans (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment and Report Writing: Conduct psychological assessments for students and prepare comprehensive reports based on assessment findings.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective strategies for student support.
- IEPs and Team Meetings: Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individual education plans (IEPs).
- Staff Training and Support: Provide consultation and training to school staff on mental health and educational strategies.
- Record Keeping and Confidentiality: Maintain accurate records and comply with all confidentiality regulations.
Caseload and Qualifications
You will manage a caseload of approximately 2-3 assessments/reports per day. To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field, state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist, strong assessment, analytical, and report writing skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The estimated salary for this position is around $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
