Citi Trends is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Store Manager: Provide support to the Store Manager in daily operations, including supervision of employees, inventory management, and sales activities.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain proper inventory controls, facilitate inventory transactions, and ensure compliance with shrink control standards.
  • Customer Service: Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service.
  • Employee Supervision: Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or performing services for customers.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure adherence of staff members to all Citi Trends, Inc. policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of retail experience as an Assistant Manager, with a minimum of 3-5 years of retail experience.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
