Project Engineer - Stormwater

At Apex Companies, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the technical aspects of our stormwater projects, handling tasks of varying complexity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical project duties, including preparation of technical documents, reports, designs, and drawings
  • Client interaction, budget management, project coordination, and proposal development
  • Leading design tasks, ensuring project coordination, and quality control within the discipline
  • Providing technical input for proposals and presentations, and managing project budgets and schedules
  • Leading fieldwork activities, such as surveying and construction observation, and assisting in construction administration tasks
  • Mentoring entry-level engineers and interns, and developing proficiency in technical software and presentation skills
Requirements:
  • 4-8 years' experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer
  • Specialization in Stormwater or Water projects
  • Engagement in project cycles, including construction administration support
  • Support for construction admin tasks and willingness to engage in fieldwork
  • Preferably, experience in hydraulic modeling
  • Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's)
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or pursuing P.E. registration in MA
  • Strong communication skills, ability to lead project teams, and interact effectively with clients
  • Active involvement in a professional association
  • Valid driver's license
