Core Responsibilities:
  • Deliver forward-thinking business tax planning and compliance services to clients through expert consulting.
  • Examine tax returns for precision and uncover potential tax-saving opportunities.
  • Oversee client engagements from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
  • Maintain transparent communication with clients, adhere to deadlines, and proactively share tax-saving strategies.
  • Collaborate with Partners, Senior Managers, and Staff on client management and business development initiatives.
  • Address minor and complex issues with tax authorities, including the IRS.
  • Facilitate client meetings and provide guidance to associates and interns.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities.
  • Perform additional assigned tasks as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting.
  • Master's in Taxation or LLM in Taxation is preferred.
  • CPA certification or progress towards certification with a minimum of 2 years of tax experience.
  • Strong technical proficiency in tax preparation, compliance, agency correspondence, and research.
  • Experience with tax provisions is considered advantageous.
  • Ability to creatively and logically solve problems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, especially under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to cultivate and maintain client relationships.
