Job Summary:

As a skilled Ultrasound Tech Level I, you will be responsible for performing a range of technical procedures in our special modality area. Working under minimal supervision, you will provide patient care during imaging exams for patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric. You will demonstrate knowledge and competency in patient care skills, ensuring a high level of care and comfort for our patients.

Education and Certification:

We require a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program. You must also hold a valid ultrasound certification and maintain a current CPR certification.

Experience:

At least one year of experience in a healthcare medical radiology, imaging, and/or therapy field is preferred. Your experience will enable you to provide exceptional patient care and technical expertise.

Language and Communication Skills:

English is the primary language required, but multilingual capabilities are a plus. You must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with all staff, management, and outside individuals at all levels.

Mathematical Skills:

You will need skill in basic arithmetic operations, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions, and decimals without a calculator. Knowledge of the metric system and U.S. equivalents is also required.

Reasoning and Critical Thinking:

You must be able to apply non-judgmental reasoning capabilities when dealing with patients, visitors, and staff. Critical thinking and multitasking skills are essential, and you must be able to make sound decisions and take appropriate actions.
