We are seeking a proficient AWS Administrator to manage and optimize our AWS infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation of our cloud services and involves collaboration with IT Operations and Applications Development teams to deliver technical support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to our cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee current AWS accounts, establish new accounts, and manage security and access control configurations.
  • Design, implement, and maintain AWS services, including EC2 instances, S3 storage, RDS databases, Lambda functions, and VPCs.
  • Safeguard AWS resources by applying security protocols, managing IAM policies, and monitoring for potential security threats.
  • Work alongside the Network Operations team to configure and manage AWS networking elements such as VPCs, subnets, and VPN connections.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
  • Set up monitoring tools to assess the performance and health of resources, ensuring effective logging for system analysis.
  • Utilize automation tools like CloudFormation and Terraform to enhance resource management efficiency.
  • Establish backup and disaster recovery plans to secure critical data and minimize service disruptions.
  • Analyze resource utilization to optimize performance and manage costs effectively.
  • Provide administrative support for additional Florida Realtors environments as required.
  • Stay informed about the latest AWS technologies and propose process improvements.
Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in an AWS Administrator or similar cloud management role.
  • A solid understanding of essential AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPCs, IAM, Lambda, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud automation tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Docker, etc.).
  • Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
  • Experience with Clumio for AWS asset backup and recovery.
  • Background in Windows Server OS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS.
