Nuclear Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medical Technologist to join our team at HERO Health Staffing Corporation. As a Nuclear Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients, working under the general supervision of a Radiologist.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures, following established protocols and maintaining production and quality of imaging procedures.
- Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients, ensuring correct exams are performed on the correct patients and establishing rapport with patients and others.
- Prepare patients and areas for procedures, positioning patients, adjusting immobilization devices, and moving equipment into specified positions.
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques.
- Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards, working with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities of equipment.
- Ensure individuals are safe to enter the department by screening them according to approved policies and procedures.
- Obtain, verify, and maintain relevant documentation, including requisition/chart, patient history, pregnancy status, and shielding precautions taken.
- Maintain medical imaging records in appropriate systems and according to department policies and standards for interpretation in a timely manner.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
- 1-3 years of experience preferred.
- ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or CNMT.
- BLS.
- State license if required.
Base Salary: $106,454 - $170,370
