Certified Perfusionist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Perfusionist to join our team at Montefiore Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular perfusion team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care requirements and treatment necessary for cardiopulmonary bypass/assistance before, during, and after surgery.

• Set up and operate the heart/lung machine, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Consult with physicians to select appropriate equipment and develop treatment plans.
• Perform related duties as required, including maintaining accurate records and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

• Graduation from an accredited college with an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in perfusion technology or a related field.
• Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion is required, once eligible.
• BLS certification is also required.
