FirstHealth of the Carolinas, Inc. is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist to join our team in Microbiology. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic laboratory environment, primarily on weekend nights with vacation rotation and occasional fill-in shifts on weekdays.
Key Responsibilities- Perform laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols that require moderate to broad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility.
- Conduct a broad range of laboratory procedures or specialize in areas of blood banking, chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, and laboratory send-out reference testing.
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in applied science for medical laboratory technology, biology, chemistry, or a related science with a year of clinical training in an accredited school of medical technology.
- Must be registered by a nationally recognized certification agency or registry eligible. Active certification preferred.
