Join Our Team as a Clinical Nurse Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at AdventHealth Heart of Florida. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our nursing workforce by providing leadership in the development of staff education and implementing evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and maintain educational programs for accuracy and relevance to the target audience
  • Assist with students and practicing nurses to identify their learning needs, strengths, and opportunities and develop learning activities to grow their skill set based on learning needs
  • Coordinate orientation of new staff, including agency staff, into the organization

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree of Science in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing with 5 years of in-patient nursing experience
  • Must be enrolled in BSN within one year of hire
  • Current registration with Florida State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse or licensure from another state with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement
  • Current in American Heart Association Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • PALS/NRP based on unit coverage (must obtain within 90 days of hire if required by unit)
