Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Dental Care Alliance. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing, to maintain patients' oral health and prevent disease.
- Take and develop dental x-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Conduct oral cancer screenings to identify potential health risks and provide patients with personalized recommendations.
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect patients' teeth and prevent decay.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions to promote healthy habits.
- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Update patient records and maintain accurate documentation of treatment performed to ensure seamless communication and care.
- Utilize dental software systems, such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic, to manage patient information and appointments efficiently.
- Valid state dental hygiene license.
- Associates degree in Dental Hygiene.
- Proficiency in using dental software systems, such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic.
- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to educate patients on oral health.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
