Salary: $72,000 annually

Position Overview:

The Culinary Supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing food production. This role supports the Executive Chef by executing assigned projects and may temporarily assume the Chef's responsibilities in their absence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee food production processes

• Ensure compliance with all recipe guidelines to maintain consistent quality, proper presentation, and food safety standards; consult with the Chef regarding any concerns

• Safely and correctly operate all kitchen equipment

• Adhere to safe food handling practices as outlined by the facility and Chef

• Follow sanitation and nutrition standards

• Maintain portion sizes, quality standards, and departmental policies and procedures

• Supervise and assist kitchen staff in all food production aspects

• Perform additional tasks as requested by the Chef or General Manager

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and time management

• Ability to interact with various management levels

• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and local health department standards

• Proficient in PC applications, with a working knowledge of Outlook, Esysco, and MS Excel preferred

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity is required

• Must maintain a neat appearance and adhere to company uniform standards at all times

Physical Requirements:

• The role involves light physical activity, prolonged walking and/or standing, and occasional lifting of up to 45 lbs.
