Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Professional to join our team in the acute setting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work independently and/or assist physicians/APCs in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and operating x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic and non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures, including intraoperative and mobile procedures, as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
  • Assist licensed practitioners in performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including ERCP's, bronchoscopy, mini-c-arms, post reductions, and mobile imaging.
  • Maintain proper equipment performance and schedule maintenance for emergent needs.
  • Apply principles of ALARA to minimize radiation exposure to patients, self, and others.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography - RT(R) is required within six months of hire post-graduation from an accredited Radiology Program.
  • Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program with 2-Year/Associate Degree is preferred.
