Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at MJ Care Inc. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational services to students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide direct instruction, support, and accommodations to students with varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and progress monitoring.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices, research, and regulatory requirements to provide evidence-based services.

Requirements:

  • Wisconsin Special Education Teaching Certification.
  • Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting Certification required before first day with students.
  • CPR Certification preferred.
  • Additional, ongoing professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience working in a school setting.
  • Experience with the needs of a diverse student population.
