Role Summary

At Fair Lawn Imaging, we are dedicated to enhancing patient care by offering convenience, quality, and value to our patients and referring providers. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in addressing the healthcare needs of our patients, utilizing your skills and innovative technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confirming patient identities and reviewing physician orders prior to initiating x-ray procedures.
  • Utilizing x-ray machinery to capture radiographic images as directed by physicians.
  • Providing clear explanations of x-ray procedures to patients and addressing any inquiries.
  • Positioning patients accurately for optimal imaging results.
  • Minimizing radiation exposure by applying lead shields as necessary.
  • Ensuring high-quality x-ray images to avoid the need for repeat procedures.
  • Maintaining x-ray equipment in excellent working condition and reporting any malfunctions to management.

Qualifications:

  • Current New Jersey State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • A genuine interest in expanding your skills in advanced radiology techniques, including CT, Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and Mammography.
  • Demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and compassion in patient interactions.
  • Ability to maintain a calm and friendly demeanor while providing professional healthcare services.
  • Capability to respond swiftly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Previous experience with fluoroscopy is advantageous.

Work Schedule:

  • Part-time position.
  • Afternoon shifts and every other weekend.
