Duncaster Inc is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Assisted Living team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our Director of Assisted Living and Care Management to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and evaluate resident care plans, including physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
- Carry out medical treatments and administer medications as prescribed.
- Respond to resident calls for aid, evaluating injuries and completing documentation as needed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in quality initiatives and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of Connecticut.
- 2 years of full-time clinical experience in nursing.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
