About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Phoenix Technologies. As a Creditor Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transaction Processing: You will be responsible for examining and booking incoming invoices, processing associated payment transactions, and reconciling creditor and general ledger accounts.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: You will assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with German accounting regulations.
  • Accrual and Expense Management: You will record and check accrual entries, process travel expense and credit card statements, and contribute to the optimization of creditor processes.
  • Team Collaboration: You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless financial operations and provide support in implementing process improvements.
Requirements
  • Commercial Qualification: You should have a successfully completed commercial apprenticeship, such as an office clerk or tax clerk qualification.
  • Professional Experience: Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting is desirable.
  • Technical Skills: You should have excellent knowledge of MS Office applications and ideally good knowledge of accounting software, with experience with SAP and DATEV being a plus.
  • Personal Qualities: You should possess a strong understanding of numbers, be independent, precise, and results-oriented, with excellent team spirit and communication skills.
