Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) at Inova Loudoun Hospital.
About the Role:- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill surgical and trauma patients, including neurosurgery, vascular surgery, general surgery patients, and post-procedural patients.
- Care for Intermediate Care level surgical and trauma patients as well.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience, with a preference for 2+ years of previous Surgical/Post-op experience.
- Education: BSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN), must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification (American Heart Association) required.
- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
- Proficient computer skills required.
