Triage is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant - Certified for a challenging Travel Allied job in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers.
- Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to promote independence and functional ability.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct patient evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and document patient progress.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant - Certified (COTA-C).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment, as needed.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
