Position Summary
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is on the lookout for a dedicated full-time faculty member to enhance our established practice.
Role Details:
- Location: Greensboro and Asheboro, North Carolina.
- Clinical Expertise: The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in managing conditions associated with the hand, wrist, and elbow in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
- Educational Engagement: Opportunities available for teaching orthopaedic hand fellows, alongside clinical and laboratory research.
- Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a team of 10 hand specialists, 3 hand fellows, and a total of 90 faculty members, ensuring seamless referrals and collaborative care.
- On-Call Responsibilities: Call duties will be outlined during discussions.
- Support Structure: Comprehensive APP and clinical support will be provided.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Certification: Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, or General Surgery, with fellowship training in hand and upper extremity.
- Licensure: Must be eligible for a North Carolina Medical License.
