Job Title:

CT Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
  • Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
  • Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
  • Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions.
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
  • Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
  • Explain scanning procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required.
Requirements:
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Passionate about patient care.
  • Requires a minimum of two years of current CT Tech experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech/CT Tech program.
  • Active unencumbered Ohio CT Tech state license.
  • One year of Cerner experience.
  • ARRT Certification.
