We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Odessa Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate care planning with other disciplines, and prioritize patient needs based on physical and psychosocial requirements.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care within the Emergency Department, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with ED physicians, patients, and families to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency.
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities, including patient care assignments, staff direction, and quality improvement initiatives.
- BSN from an accredited nursing program preferred.
- 18 months acute/critical care experience preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse license within the state of practice.
- Current Certification as indicated by the Steward Certification Grid.
