Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete assigned custodial tasks in a commercial cleaning account
  • Ensure a high level of quality in all tasks performed
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, and office space
  • Clean, dust, and wipe furniture
  • Empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers
  • Handle recycling materials
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and sanitize bathrooms
  • Refill restroom dispensers
  • Operate a power vacuum
  • Follow all manufacturers' recommendations for use of cleaning solutions
  • Properly stock cart
  • Assist with setup of facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences, and events
  • Follow all instructions of the Account Manager
  • Follow the daily job routine in the order it is outlined
  • Use correct step-by-step procedures for each cleaning task
  • Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment
  • Inform the Account Manager of any equipment malfunctions or unusual occurrences on the job
  • Ensure a level of cleanliness that meets the quality expectations of the customer
  • Maintain all equipment, supplies, and supply rooms in an orderly fashion
  • Regular attendance
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a positive manner that gets along with customers, vendors, program participants, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Responsible for following agency safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment
Requirements:
  • Must be able to pass federal clearance process as required by site
  • Previous custodial experience preferred
  • In order to be eligible for hire, all application questions must be completed and the application must be signed
