Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will also prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain general ledger integrity.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial goals.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit organization.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
