Radiation Oncology Career

We are seeking a skilled Medical Physicist to fill this critical role. The ideal candidate will have expertise in radiation safety and quality control procedures.

The position involves ensuring the quality of care in the use of radiation-producing sources and imaging equipment, while protecting patients and staff from radiation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform required calibrations on equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Recommend and justify new equipment and products for the department, aligning with industry standards.
  • Conduct equipment performance reviews as needed and implement quality control procedures for imaging devices.
  • Educate staff in radiation safety practices, emphasizing employee well-being.
  • Support all physics aspects of patient treatment, including consultation with radiation oncologists, calculation of radiation doses, design and fabrication of treatment aids, and assurance of the accuracy of all treatment parameters.
Requirements:
  • A Medical Physicist credentialed from the American Board of Radiology obtained within 36 Months (3 years) of hire date or job transfer date is mandatory.
