Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

About the Role:

The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist prepares the Cath Lab for Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, assesses and fulfills patient needs, and performs hemodynamic and control room duties. They will also correlate the analysis of invasive and non-invasive tests, recognize the need for additional intervention, and report pertinent findings to the Physician.

• Maintain a working knowledge of equipment and perform hemodynamic and control room duties
• Prepare and perform the Cardiac Cath Lab for procedures according to standard operating procedures
• Practice radiation safety to protect staff members and patients
• Perform and monitor patient's stress tests

Requirements

• National certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist - Registered (R.C.T.)
• ND Medical Imaging License within 12 months of start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of start date

As a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist at Altru Health, you will be offered a competitive salary of $42.41 - $63.57 per hour, depending on experience. Education and Training

PREFERRED: Associate's degree in Cardiac Technician or Radiologic Technology.
