Automotive Repair Technician

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team at the Ryburn Automotive Group. As a key member of our service department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the highest level of vehicle maintenance.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description:
- Examine and diagnose vehicles to determine the necessary repairs.
- Discuss repair options with shop foremen or service advisors to ensure the best course of action.
- Communicate additional service requests to service advisors to provide seamless customer experiences.
- Plan work in cooperation with shop foremen to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Provide labor estimates to service advisors to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation.
- Complete detailed records of client repairs to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Assist in mentoring technician trainees to foster a culture of growth and development.
- Attend company and factory training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques.
- Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; 1-3 months of related experience and/or training is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
An Operator Driver's License and State Inspection License are necessary for this position.
