Driver Manager Job Description

At Schneider National, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Driver Manager to lead a team of truck drivers in Westville, IN. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership and support to our drivers, ensuring their safety and well-being while maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Work with various teams to identify and implement creative solutions to improve driver retention and overall business performance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze situations and develop effective solutions.
