Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Fitness Instructor to join our team at Crunch Fitness. As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for leading a variety of exercise classes, including Boot Camp, Tread, Cardio/Weights, Mind/Body, Dance/Cardio, HIIT/Strong Nation, Zumba, TRX, and Silver Sneakers.

Responsibilities
  • Instruct safe and effective exercise classes to clients of all levels.
  • Maintain all mandatory education certifications, including CPR, Zumba, and nationally accredited aerobic certifications.
  • Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures and understand and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with the Crunch mission statement.
  • Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager.
  • Maintain a professional disposition at all times and follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Maintain valid CPR certification.
  • Valid and current Zumba license.
  • Nationally accredited aerobic certification (AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred).
  • Valid Yoga or Pilates certification also acceptable.
  • Silver Sneakers certification.
Special Skills
  • Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Good verbal communication.
  • PT certification preferred.
Meetings
  • Monthly or weekly department meetings.
  • Employee training meetings.
  • Employee evaluation meetings.
