The Electroneurodiagnostic (END) specialist is a crucial member of the healthcare team at Avera McKennan Hospital, responsible for performing and interpreting EEGs and other neurodiagnostic tests in an acute hospital setting.

This role requires proper calibration and maintenance of medical equipment, along with the ability to initiate interventions based on patient condition changes.

Competitive Pay:

  • Estimated annual salary range: $85,000 - $110,000

About the Job:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. Other shift scheduling options may be available. The call is every 4th week/weekend. You will receive call pay as well as weekend and evening/night differential pay.

STAT and Routine EEGs, and continuous long-term monitoring EEG studies in an Acute Hospital setting for all age groups. Scheduled Outpatient EEG studies for pediatrics and adults.

You will initiate proper interventions based upon interpretation of changes in the patient's condition and extract relevant information from the patient's chart.

You will calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot medical and general support equipment.

Education and Certification You Will Need:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of EEG/EEG/Neurodiagnostics Technology.
  • Registration in EEG (R.EEG T.) or evoke potentials (R.EP T.) from the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist is required within two years of accepting the position.
