Key Responsibilities
  • Work with senior members of our Water Business Line team to identify and pursue new municipal business opportunities.
  • Lead client-related activities, including project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Participate in local community and industry events to build relationships and promote AECOM's expertise.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to local staff, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Coordinate project tasks between offices, requiring strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Makes presentations to clients and internal stakeholders, effectively communicating project plans and progress.
  • Collaborate with clients, sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, and the public to achieve project objectives.
  • Responsible for the technical practice and operational management of one large or multiple small to medium-sized offices/operating units with moderate complexity.
  • Determine and execute the strategic direction of the office(s) to ensure financial profitability.
  • Work with district and/or regional management to ensure financial success of the offices within the district or operating unit.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience with progressive experience as PE/PM in municipal water/wastewater infrastructure engineering design and construction or demonstrated equivalency of education and experience.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in engineering.
  • 20 years of related experience, with progressive experience as PE/PM in municipal water/wastewater infrastructure engineering design and construction.
  • Experience working in the greater Seattle, Washington geographic area for the water/wastewater/stormwater industry is highly preferred.
  • Experience in managing and/or delivering projects by alternative delivery.
