Dailey Precast, LLC specializes in designing and manufacturing quality precast/prestressed concrete products. Our projects span parking structures, building exteriors, bridges, sports stadiums, and retaining walls throughout Metro New York/New Jersey, Upstate New York, and New England.

The entry-level Precast Draft Specialist will support the precast operations team by creating and revising technical drawings and documentation for precast concrete projects. This role involves working under limited supervision to create production tickets using Precast Software that manufactures precast/prestressed concrete products.

This position requires creating detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings of precast concrete components using CAD software. The successful candidate must ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and company guidelines. Additionally, this role involves preparing and revising submittals for project approval.

Candidates should be able to work closely with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility. Strong attention to detail is required to review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

Key skills for this role include proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in Revit or SolidWorks being a plus. Knowledge of drafting standards, techniques, and the ability to interpret technical documents, models, and assemblies is essential.

A minimum of two years of experience in the precast industry or a comparable manufacturing background with a focus on prefabricated assemblies is preferred. Experience with Bill of Material management, database integration, and end-user requirements is also desirable.

Familiarity with writing shop instructions and text procedures is beneficial. Strong writing and verbal communication skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is necessary.

This role may require up to 5% travel by personal vehicle to offices throughout the state of New York and New England based on business needs.
