Job Title: Intake Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

The BridgeWay is seeking a skilled Intake Registered Nurse to join our team. As an Intake RN, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and orderly admissions into our hospital. This role requires strong communication and assessment skills, as well as the ability to work under stressful circumstances.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming admission inquiry calls and assess patients for admission
  • Make appropriate referrals and assist with the achievement of patient outcomes
  • Complete necessary assessments and medical documentation to move patients through the admission process
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Assessment and Referral to ensure seamless admissions

Requirements:

  • Current nursing license
  • Two years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting preferred
  • CPI and Handle with Care certification required
  • Ability to assess physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
