Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Electrophysiology Technician to work in our Catheterization Laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including preparing patients, operating equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and applying electrodes.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning equipment, disposing of biohazardous waste, and restocking supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
- Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures.
- At least 1-2 years of experience as an Electrophysiology Technician.
- Graduate from an accredited school of cardiovascular technology.
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
- Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, push, bend, and pull.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
