About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in their homes or at facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures, including portable x-rays and EKG exams, in a variety of settings.
  • Collect and verify patient information and order documentation prior to procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment and determine exposure factors based on patient needs.
  • Demonstrate safe work practices, including radiation safety and ALARA principles.
  • Prepare images for reading by radiologists or requesting physicians.
  • Transmit images and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving of equipment and systems.
Requirements
  • Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R).
  • Limited Scope X-ray Operator certification, if required by state.
  • State x-ray license, if applicable.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
