Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room to join our team at a reputable hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the surgeon.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the surgeon.
  • Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC).
  • Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a surgical specialty unit.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
