At LAUNCH TransTechs, we are seeking a skilled Bus Dismantling Technician to join our team in Oakland, CA.

The estimated salary for this position is $18 - $20 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and dismantle diesel powered buses to identify salvageable parts.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of bus components to determine their condition and potential for reuse.
  • Remove engines and other major components from the bus chassis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have own tools and personal protective equipment, including steel toe boots.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
  • Must possess mechanical aptitude and skills.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
