Job Overview

This role is for a highly motivated Technical Sales Representative to join our growing Sales organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical sales assistance with presentations to local government clients, working in conjunction with the Account Executive and reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing.
  • Respond to technical questions/issues raised by clients, coordinate response with internal Support staff.
  • Attend regional trade shows and conferences.
  • Work with existing clients to ensure maximum deployment and usage within different departments.
  • Ancillary up sales to existing customers.
  • Ensure execution of developed sales strategies, plans, and advertising or promotional programs.
  • Assist in managing new business development sales process from proposal to close.
  • Ensure activities are in accordance with developed sales objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date Sales Funnel using Salesforce.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • GIS and IT experience is preferred.
  • 2+ years' geographic information systems (GIS) or geospatial experience required.
  • The ability to travel up to 50%, primarily within the territory.
  • Experience working with local government a plus.
  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 per year, with opportunities for bonuses and professional growth. We offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
