We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina.
Job OverviewMEDPRO Healthcare Allied Staffing is a Joint Commission-certified provider of contract staffing services. Our company has been placing happy nursing and allied travelers in top healthcare facilities nationwide since 1983.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated weekly pay for this position is $4,000-$5,000, depending on the number of hours worked and experience. This includes tax-free stipends and reimbursement for meal, incidental, and housing expenses.

The primary responsibility of the Respiratory Therapist is to evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating patient conditions and developing treatment plans
- Providing respiratory care to patients per physician orders and established policies and procedures
- Participating in the development and/or implementation of patient care plans
- Maintaining and promoting good customer relations; communicating with management, coworkers, facility staff, patients, patients' family members, and other caretakers in a professional manner
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Respiratory Therapist credential by the NBRC
- CPR certification
- At least 18 months of respiratory care experience, ideally in a critical care setting
