Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced paralegal to support our growing legal team at Beach Cities Estate Law. The ideal candidate will use their work experience and organizational skills to prepare and maintain legal documents, file petitions with the probate court, interview clients, and conduct legal research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand estate planning, trust administration, and probate law and procedure
  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence under the supervision of a lawyer
  • Manage case load, including tracking deadlines and progress of all matters
  • Help lawyers prepare for hearings and client meetings by organizing and summarizing documents and information provided by clients
  • Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls and keeping our case filing system organized
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar
  • Excellent organizational skills and time-management skills
  • Completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
