Dishwasher Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Huddle House. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that dishes are washed and sanitized to the highest standards.

**Responsibilities:**

* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including dish areas, floors, and storage spaces
* Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment to the highest standards
* Set up and maintain dish stations, including dish machines and sinks
* Maintain clean and dry floors throughout the shift
* Properly wash, stack, and store glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers
* Change water in machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels
* Assist in the timely storing of food deliveries
* Maintain trash cans throughout the shift and remove full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift
* Maintain the dry storage area and organization of storage shelves
* Follow posted daily dish cleaning duties
* Assist in food prep and other duties as needed

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or GED
* Hospitality-related kitchen experience preferred
* Current food handler's card and other certification as required by federal/state/local law

**Skills:**

* Self-motivated with a high energy level
* Verbal communication
